Mindfulness consists in our senses being fully connected with the present moment, connecting with nature, enjoying the moment, and focusing on relaxation.
Distraction is a way of coping skill by doing activities that can allow for you to have a break and experience a short term relief. Some activities include watching television (favorite tv shows), listening to music, doing puzzles, games, gardening, arts and crafts.

Talking with a friend is a coping skill called Emotional release that helps us when feeling overwhelmed by a situation. Finding comfort in our support system is a healthy way of coping with feelings.
Also Self-love is an essential coping skill, doing things that we enjoy is fundamental for our emotional wellbeing (massage, manicure, bubble bath, therapy, etc.).
